I enjoy snapping pictures, mainly of landscapes and inanimate objects, but I do enjoy snapping pictures when out climbing too.
I use a Nikon D50 with various lenses, primarily the 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR DX, but also the Nikon 50 mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor and the kit lens 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX. For convenience, I'll also snap pictures with my Nokia N95.
Recently a friend has lent me his old Nikon F35 along with a Kenko x2 converter, a 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G AF Nikkor and a 70-300 mm f/4-5.6G AF to play around with some film and increase the already adequate zoom range that my lenses provide (the 70-300mm lens with the x2 converter will give an effective zoom of 900mm on the D50!).
I don't do much post-image processing really, but as I do like taking landscapes I'll often shoot several pictures and then stitch them together Hugin. I use gThumb and f-spot to view and manage my pictures, including posting to Flickr, and when I do want to dabble with a picture I'll use The GIMP.
I shoot a lot of pictures, not many of them come out great, but those that do get posted to my Flickr stream. A selection of pictures are shown below in a slideshow.
